The glass box extension is going to transform not only the entire ground floor but also how the family uses is. The garden will be an integral part of the house thanks to the seamless glass walls
The House
This house on Ridge Road was already an incredible family home.
It had everything a you could wish for except one thing: the kitchen. It was small, dark and tucked away from the main living area, and just didn't live up to the house's potential.
This was the jumping-off point for a complete rethink of the house.
The whole back of the original kitchen has been taken off and reimagined with a full glass box that, once open, disappears into the garden. This new fabulous kitchen has been opened up to join the rest of the living space to really make full use of the home.
Oh and don't forget the little things that make life that little bit better: the new walk in larder; the understairs WC, the proper hide-away coat cupboard, the new family bathroom, the top-to-toe redecoration.....
